  • 12 Red chilies 1 tspn
  • Turmeric 2 tblspns
  • Coriander seeds
  • 1/2 tspn
  • Fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tspn Chana dal

Method:

  • Cook toovar dal till soft.
  • Add rice to it and cook.
  • Add tamarind juice, powdered masala and garam masala.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Add enough water like a gruel .
  • Add4 tblspns of oil, add mustard seeds, cashewnuts and curry leaves.
  • When cashews are light pink pour over the rice.
  • Serve hot with Ghee.

Indira Park, named after former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, is the oldest of these four parks and is also a favorite site among the residents of the city.

The 16 meter tall, 350-tonne monolithic gigantic sculpture rises high from the calm waters of the scenic Hussain Sagar Lake. The statue is entirely made of white granite, finely sculpted and stands grandly on a wide dais amidst the glistening waters of the lake. A boat ride to the statue of Buddha is an unforgettable one and gives a feeling of immense peace.

Every year, the state tourism board organizes water sports competition for all adventure seekers. The sports range from boating to water-skiing, para sailing and cruising in motorboats. During these competitions, a number of people flank the shores of the lake making it the most lively and colorful place.
